Closed loop solution
In a closed-loop solution, the airflows at the front of the indoor unit are fed directly through the adjacent 19” racks. At the back side, the indoor unit directly extracts the hot air emitted by the IT hardware, returning it to the front as a flow of cold air. This involves no mixture of hot and cold air. The system also enables distribution of the cooling capacity among several racks.
