The cylinder lock replaces the quarter square locking clip and it can be fitted to the rear and side panels. This adds extra security to prevent unauthorized access to the cabinet. The number of locks depends on the height of the panel. Above 24U, 4 locks are used. If the panel is 24U, 2 locks are used.
