Veghel, August 5, 2010 – The Aegide Group, a European supplier of ICT-datacenter solutions and housing solutions for high-tech OEM electronics industry is seeking to provide an additional boost as far as its competitiveness and efficiency are concerned. In order to achieve this, the Group’s CEO and major shareholder Gery Morssinkhof will take up his position as Chair of the Board of Management with effect from September 1, 2010 and the everyday management of the Group will be placed in the hands of a new management team.

“Since 2005, the Aegide Group has experienced significant growth in terms of total sales, the number of employees and in the diversity of its solutions,” explains Gery Morssinkhof. “After starting out as a product supplier, our company has matured during the past five years into a supplier of expertise and integrated total solutions and now employs 175 staff at its sites in five different European countries. As Chair of the Board of Management, I will be unfettered by concerns arising from the line management system and will be able to devote my attention to corporate strategy and development, in order to give an additional boost to the growth curve we are already experiencing.”

Mr. Morssinkhof takes the view that this organizational change will be highly beneficial and that his new position will enable him to devote the majority of his time to the bigger picture. “For example, further potential gains can still be achieved by improving the synergies that exist between our various operating companies, by increasing our international expansion in Europe and elsewhere and by ensuring that the time-to-market of solutions developed by our R&D department becomes even shorter.

The new Management Team
Morssinkhof is handing over the everyday management of the Group to the new Management Team, consisting of the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) Jeroen Hol, the Chief Operating Officer (COO) Ad Timmers and the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Erik van Kessel. The role of the COO will remain unchanged, while the role of the CCO is a new position that is intended to strengthen the Management Team at Aegide. The CCO, Jeroen Hol, was formerly at the helm of Cortexon, one of the operating companies that form part of the Aegide Group. The position of CFO has also been filled by Erik van Kessel, a new appointment, who has been promoted from within the organization, having previously held the position of International Manager Finance and Control at Aegide.
